Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo Foundation empowers 131 women in the Nigerian community of Sabon Layin Kara and its environs in the Gwarzo Local Government Area on 28th September 2021. These 131 selected women received N30,000 naira each.
This intervention is part of the foundation focus area in reducing poverty among vulnerable populations. These Empowerment programs are targeting to help to reduce the level of hardship, poverty and improve women and girls participation in business and development of the area.
These benefitting women in who are starting up business and those with existing business
Key beneficiaries to this intervention include orphans, widows, people with special needs like deaf and blind to mention but few. and the vulnerable to develop their businesses and expand them.
The intervention developed mentoring and evaluation to track the progress, challenges and develop strategies in ensuring these funds are managed effectively for their businesses growth and support for the support to the other vulnerable in the community.
Community members, CSOs, media, development stakeholders and other youth groups graced the occasion.
